Me too, I tend to wonder if there are any KSP parents when I send or fetch my DD to/from school.

For My Gal in P5 Last Year, The First Term is Tough, Adjusting to HW Vs No HW in the First 4 yrs in PH.
I can accept dat, hence seekg for more RnR for dd, n umhumm myself. I usually start revision early so dat nearing exam she is doing lesser n she wld come to me sayin why she seemed quite relaxed. But with her supp class, n more school work, I had bn struggling to find time to sit down n revise with her. N I really wAnt to enjoy our CNY, so dats y I'm frusto. IFunx3:
If Parents Can Accept Not ALL their Kids R A* Material, MayBe Less Stress ALL Round, for Both the Kid And ....
The Mummy & Daddy!
:celebrate: :celebrate:
like pacing her revision so dat she doesn't feel up to her neck nearing
exams. But seems like P5 is going to b diff!
Any advice, parents?
Quite BLUR, esp in Maths and Sc (Sc under Mr HOD SC) ....
Being Her Normal Self, She Soon Catch Up With A Little Bit Of Mummy's Input (Note the \"LITTLE\" Part, She Does Not Want Me to Breath Down Her Neck, Just Ask Mummy When She Really in :?: Mode) ....
She Steadfast-ly Stick to Her \"NO-TuiTion\"- Hence Less HW (from Tuition) Motto ....
But Can See She Spend A Large Chunk of Her Free Time at Home on HW instead (So have to Cut Down On Gaming Time -la ....
)
But My Expectation of Her is That She Try Not to Slide Down from Existing Class Position (Well I Don't Expect A* from Her) ....
In Fact, I Half Expected Her To Slide Slightly in Her Grade as She Has Almost Back-to-Back Commitment to CCA Everyday (Something Like Average 3 hours per day) ....
She Surprised Me. For Despite Her Numerous CCA Commitments, she Still Managed to Stay in Her Existing Class, and With Improved Class Position in SA2 .... Phew ....
So MayBe U Don't Need to Over-Do It When Your dd is Still Adjusting to the New High Volume of HW Phase Now ....
Errrrrrr .... One Thing Though, Normally PH will Set Harder than Usual Exam Q in CA1 .... A Couple of Q could even B from P6 ....
So Don't Expect Normal Results in CA1 ....
If There is Any Consolation, EveryBody Results Will Slide ....
But Concentrate on Class Positions instead (Well, At least that's What I Did) ....
U Will Definite-ly Stay Less Stressed that Way ....

Huh? Choir will become twice weekly? Wow are they training for some competition? Twice a week is very time consuming, isn't it?
yes, it is! twice a week... :stupid: i have to sign to accept it...
I signed the form about Choir $120 payment method yesterday, and was informed after the term2, Choir change from every Monday to every Mon & Wed per week.lizhi:
the result of CCA was posted in the school website. Looking at the uncompleted list, there must be many students not taking up any CCA at all.
Taking the estimated school population as 300 x 6 = 1800 students...
that is why my dd has no chance and it is impossible to attend any other CCA, exp GB.

:celebrate: :celebrate:
Hi Funx, tks alot for yr advice! I agree on the less tuition rationale, as my dd did better with lesser tuition but more of my coaching. But with lesser tuition means more pressure on my side as I hv to do consistent revision and work with her in order to hv her maintain her class position
Transitioning fr a FTWM to SAHM, I still do feel the desire to ensure my kids do better in all aspects, with a gd balance of fun/play blended with work. -
