So is TLL better or Mindstretcher better? DH just told me TLL's forte is not English. :!:

Your dh better not say TLL forte is maths hor. I gave up on their offer of maths at the prime sat morning slot last yr cos I was only interested in their eng class.

Which is better? It's six of one half a dozen of the other. :scratchhead:

At the end of the day, I guess the one that is nearest to my house and fits my schedule will be better.

      Very Practical ....
Can Go Back Home After Sending Son to Sat Morning Class and Have 40 Winks .... After Wake Up, Still Got Enough Time for A Cup of Coffee Before Fetching Him, Right?
      Hee -Hee .... πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

Oh really? This is bad! TLL doesn't come cheap, S$64.50 per lesson (which I just found out today). πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰
Actually it's more than that cos iirc they don't have make-up lessons for public holidays.

Yup he says Maths and Science is their forte... πŸ˜‰ and I agree with you, distance plays a part too! TLL says their Mountbatten branch has vacancies, but then, it's in the EAST! :!: but she says parking is easier because it's industrial area (I was like HUH??!). Then I asked if there was a Starbucks or Coffeebean for Mummies to sit and wait, she told me it's 3 minutes walk to MRT and there are some shopping malls, a few train stations away. She expects me to park my car, and then walk to MRT station, and then take a train to shop? :!: :!: :!:

So in all, we still need to consider distance when choosing an enrichment centre. πŸ˜‰

I just called TLL this afternoon, and they told me they have places for all subjects (but subject to the days)! :!: Are they losing market share now?

The weekend classes are more difficult to get.
Besides, they just open another branch at Mountbatten this year, so intake should increased.

Dunno but I know of 1 parent who was complaining abt the teacher her son had last year. Teacher late for classes and though parents complained stil no improvement. She is planning to withdraw if her son stil has the same teacher this year.

Yup, she was v unhappy. But mayb she was unlucky. I'm sure there must be gd teachers there, if not, it wld not hv bn so popular. One of my friend's kid who is in gifted program stil attends tuition there.

Oh my gdness, I didn't know the fee is SOOOO Ex!

                        3) Do you get upset if they are not as involved as you would like them to be?
