3 hours passes very fast…I know it bcos I used to struggle to do as much as I can when daughter was in kindergarten.

If you go back to school, you’ll be too tired to coach eldest one when she returns home. Maybe you can consider this option when #3 is older.

Thanks Janet, so nice of you to consider my welfare. Yup, I am now busy compiling theory notes for each individual question for my dd's theory exam. I did that last time for her grade 3 and she got a Distinction. Now, fervently compiling for grade 5, which will be right after her CA1! Very busy March for us cos she'll also be taking her Grade 5 practical as well. Once March is over, I think we can breathe easier...I hope.... :nailbite:

:lol: :lol:[/quote]Yarlo Funx, my dd not only retorted me frequently like that, but when I asked her to chck with teacher some qs I hv wth rgds to my alternative answers, her immed response wld be, \"My teacher is correct,\". But after persuasion, she'll ask or I'll write a post-stik note and ask her to show teacher my comments/workings. Thank goodness my answers are usually acceptable so my dd's confidence in me grew slightly...
But I alwaz fret at her behaviour when I'm teaching her, and grieve at my inferior status as ''teacher at home\" compared to her teachers in school. :stupid:

With 3 kids, you definitely need to save energy for them. No point going back to teach for the few hours bcos you need to factor in time to travel and it's tiring.

Wow E3, you are a real Super Mummy! How do you find so much time to do so much for yr kids! I must learn fr u! Like I said earlier, I'm struggling to fit revision and my coaching time into my elder dd's schedule, wat with her supp classes, ballet (twice a week). Can share some tips on scheduling? I want to spend time with her on Eng, Compos (Chin and Eng), Science. But its week 4 already and nothing accomplished as I cldn't bear to get her to do any more work after she finished her hw.

I told ds that i'm not wrong, but he burst into tears bcos he's worried he'll get into trouble w e teacher :roll: Dh asked how come he fears the teacher so much yet disregards us :x


E3, i do think janet's rite, working adjunct w 3 kids its v time consuming, esp if u incl commuting. I can hardly find time for ds2 now that ds1 is in p1. I'm lucky that i can leave work on the dot everyday, but i find myself very ragged from the commute. More so than actual work!!
