I am just curious why would we want to buy these vendor's books? I am sure there'll be many vendors from time to time so how can we make the informed decision that the purchase is necessary or helps our kids?
I also think that it is not necessary to order this 'venture in maths'. How about problemsums.com. Is this useful for our kids?? -

For me, I ordered the +venture in Maths is because I find that the article is very attractive and colourful. This can \"lure\" kids to take a look inside rather than the usual mundane plain documents.
+venture in Maths is a bi-weekly magazine.
Additionally I have ordered \"Young Scientist\" magazine from English Corner for my kids.
These are magazines that I have ordered for my kids to read as leisure and gain general knowledge.
I am still considering Problemsums.com..... -

Actually We also think that it is not necesary but my son wants to subcribe it. He likes to play computer / online games, so since he requested, we feel that it's better to let him try to play this \"ProblemSum\" rahter than keep playing those online games. -
hi all, my son fm P1 loyal too. His name is cliff. Juz tot of networking a bit here cos my son don’t tell me much abt what he do in sch. Din subscribe to those as my son is not so discipline to read thru them himself .

oh hi CKMum
We do have a few P1 Loyal mummies here. Rae hasn’t mention Cliff but that’s also because she’s quite shy, she probably doesn’t know everyone in class too. We chat with Rae every night about her classmates, the school environment, her recess buddies and activities just to make sure she’s settling well in school. So far, she seems to love school a lot, so lets hope it stays this way.
By the way, on problemsums.com, are there any experienced mummies from CFS who had subscribed before and have valuable feedback to share?
Thanks -
