Thank you jedamum for replying on my behalf to myhappykids mum.
I seldom come to this thread coz nothing worth writing about CCKPS as compared to elite schs.
I remember reading somewhere someone’s kid also in this sch (P1?) has a lot of homework. Yes, my son also has a lot of homework, which I don’t like. Their spelling list & ting xie super easy & repetitive (though my son didn’t do well for daily work & exams, due to short attention span & very active). Their exam paper also relative easy, only 1-2 questions on par with other schs. Other schs can have about 50% thinking questions. Format for exam also much simplier (ie Eng & Chinese). Seems to me not on par with the standard of majority of schs like those free test papers.
CCA is not compulsory in this sch. -
my boy will be reporting to CCKPS next year…YEAH

Hi chengcab, my gal as well
do u know the orientation on 20 nov is also the day when we will be buying the books? -
Hello, my boy will be transferring from Bt Timah Pri Sch to CCKPS next week. Reason for transfer because of the long journey (school bus journey is about an hour), son complained of tiredness and headache. My heart aches when I see his tired face each morning. Hope he will be ok when he goes to CCKPS. Sigh…

Is CCKPS still dual session? Asking because I've just recruited a tutor staying in CCK and need to see if there'll be demand for tuition classes in the morning. THanks!!

Mrs Wong
