I'm an old gal of RGPS and will be sending my dd there when she enters P1 in 2013...

Can you share with me your feedback on the school and the teachers? Is their P1 in pm session or do they only have 1 session?

Currently P1 and P2 are still in the afternoon session. They will only be single session probably from year 2016.

Dear RGPS parents


My girl is studying P3 this year, hence she is in morning sessions. School bus will pick her up at 5.50am and i think that is crazy. I decided to drop the service since 1st day of sch this year. Just wander if anyone will be interested to pool a car or bus to send them to school. I am sending my girl by taxi everyday now… Am trying very hard to solve this matter…

yes, 5.50 am is so early !
it’s pitch dark everywhere.
poor girl.

if rgps school bus operator not suitable, how about try private school bus operator that bring students to schools along Bukit Timah area ?

dont just rely on rgps alone.
call up all other schools’ school bus operator.
see if any other operator willing to pass by Chinatown area much later.

if you are concerned if there is streaming at Pri 1, the answer is No.
Pri 1 and 2 no streaming.

come Pri 3, pupil can do Higher Chinese, if pupil consistently score > 85 marks.

I had tried other bus operators as well, but none can fetch as only 1 child. I had also tried to resume the bus operator which we had used for the past 2 years but now he told me he had no slot. None of the bus operators had any slot for my girl now, I am now left with no help but to send her by taxi everyday.

How abt you? How do you send your girl to school?
