      most of the school p1 is like that. no dictations. I received a letter from myschool they are having ca1 for maths n MT. no ca1 for EL. 😐 If it is other way round then I'll be happy..

      Hi plum-cake,

      Thnaks for sharing this website....really good stuff. I didn't know some of the rules like 2 third tone sounds together becomes 2nd tone+ 3rd tone. :oops:

      Yeh I had to accept most of the rules and stuff I really don't know. I learn when I teach them to my daughter.

        Both my kids have problem with 2nd and 3rd tones.

        Oh yes, does any mummy know whether there is still 数笔画 ?

                Yes..there's still 数笔画 but lesser in comparison to our P5/P6 kids when they were in P1/P2.

                    Yes, you are so right...when the kids are in school, we mummies take the chance to read up and learn from one another to teach the kids.
                    Some of the reference/assessment books recommended by mummies are good, which was why I ended up one big stack in Dec.
