My sis is going to try making beef stew.

I've made beef stew in my thermal pot. Very good. And the smell's heavenly when you wait for it to cook.

Wow yummy!!! jtoh, how long did you have to boil the stew over the fire, and how long did you leave it in the outer pot, before it can be fully stewed and eaten?
I cook my meat and ingredients in the pot over a fire, then when it's boiling I cook for a little longer before putting into the outer pot. Don't know how long because I usually make it in the late morning or early afternoon and have it for dinner. Haven't made it in a while though. Should make it again. šŸ™‚

DH and DD both love Mei Cai Kou Rou, so I thought of trying to cook it for them, but I don't have the recipe for it. Got to google for the recipe later. Mmm, yummy too!

Happy Mama sounds like she is on a \"soup/stew overdrive\" now that she has a few thermal pots to play around! :siam:
