Pei Chun should be the last badge to go into single session in Singapore... Most prob ard 2016. That's what the principle said....

Oh.. is it but we heard from those student care centres they might be going single session in 2013 ? Anyone heard of that ?

I heard it’s probably 2014, which is what I am hoping for since that’s the year my son goes into P1. Girl is now in P2

We spoke to the principle on 7th Jan when we met him to settle my girl’s transfer to Pei Chun. We asked the same question and the answer we got from the Principal was it would be sometime in 2015/2016. Pei Chun is the last badge wor…

Currently Pei Chun P1 and P2 is PM session only. And P3 onwards AM session only? So if according to Principal’s timing that Pei Chun turns single session in 2015/2016, what is the likely impact on the school and students?


1) P1 to P6 all AM or all PM?

2) Lesser P1 intake number?

So sometimes you always think… do you want all AM or you want lesser intake…hmm…

I think it’s less intake. Currently their intake of P1s are higher than most primary schools. I don’t think they’ll expand the premises.

The Principal mentioned that the reason for delay of single session for Pei Chun is because awaiting for MOE to allocate budget for the school to get ready for the single session. I think this will mean upgrading and expanding school facilities and compound for this purpose... so P1 to P6 will all be in the morning session (according to the Principal, single session in Singapore MOE educational system = morning session).
