        I just hope it does not rain too much. Otherwise may have to postpone favourite visitations also…

          Sadly...no. I don't have the spirit anymore, and I'm still afraid of the past CNY in which the fear of that horrible thing (not related to CNY) and how overwhelming the celebrations were.

          This year would definitely go better.

          CNY can be boring with all the visitations. Non-Chinese can enjoy the holiday but do remember to stock up their fridge bcos stalls will be closed and food may be stale. I once had diarrhea after eating at hawker centre on the 4th day of CNY.

          Oh really? That's bad. Then in this case, it's safer to dine at McDonald's... 😉

            One of the reasons y I dislike CNY :

            Madness in Supermarket. Its beena nightmare everyone is buying pushing. Think you might even need a special license to push trolley. Its really a challenge to grab what u need throw it in the trolley, push it through the crowd without crashing into something. 😄

            Anyways::

              Markets will be closed 2moro (I think) and what's left to be sold are the leftovers. Even though supermarkets are opened, but what is avail are also leftovers.
              My mum said eggs sold out at Shop n Save.

                  (1) Need to chiong to market/supermarket for groceries, if u go too late everything sold out or u practically picking those leftover ones…
                  (2) Need to travel 3 places during lst day of CNY… tiring esp when now im expecting…
                  (3) Go everywhere also eat steamboat which im quite sick of it…
                  (4) visit to my MIL relatives side on lst day, very boring, so many pple, practically no place to sit! Finally found a seat, i just sit there and yawn non stop, then one hr later, ask my hubby to go off to my mum hse!

                        Today I went to take a look at the mandarin oranges. I have left it to the last minute. Yes, mostly leftovers! 😢
                        Anyway, got just one pack of 18 oranges and ate one to try, not bad! I just need to use it for \"pai nian\" thats all. Not going to buy so many like 2 years ago and almost half of them ended up rotting in the fridge!
                        😉
