      Hi Brenda,

I still haven't bought new clothes for my DDs. Aiyo, never learn my lesson...always buy last minute. Hope we can find something.
DH & I wanted to bring DDs to Chinatown today but they are not keen. Too crowded!! πŸ˜‰

      Hi Tinkerbelle

DD bought two blouse and two skirts from OG today. These were under Homegrown and sold at offer price. I think is quite worth as the total price was about $61.00. We went afternoon and lucky at that time still not that crowded.

      Hi Brenda,
Thanks....will bring DDs down to check it out later this afternoon. Sounds like a good deal. Hope I can convince DD1 to wear skirts just for CNY....haha. She's not the 'guniang' type.. πŸ˜‰

        Hi Lynn,
Smart move!! Every time DD buys new clothes, she'll wear them immediately so now nothing new in wardrobe. 😐

She is into MANGO, so its very easy to settle.

That's good. DD also just have a few Science worksheets to submit next Monday. As such she helps in cutting the spring onion, prawn and εŒ…δΊ”ι¦™.

[/quote]Last round I bought a few Polo Ts and long trousers for DS and I kept 2 sets (in case need new clothes for special occasion). Not used yet, so can use for CNY now. Also bought dresses and blouses for DD and myself in Dec when abroad on holiday, and kept some for CNY too.

I dislike hunting for clothes near CNY as I always ended up \"defeated\" (by the mess and the crowd) 😒 and made do with some impulse purchase that I would not wear again after 1 time :stupid:

                    Hi Lynn

Good opportunity to train their focus and fine motor skills as handling knife have to be extra careful.

                    Cheers

                      Hahaha, Brenda, I like that.

Many a time, look at dd carry knife or scissor, I will quickly ask her to stay out of my way, or I will have bigger mess to clear...

                      cheers

Quite true that joining a big crowd and long queue is really tiring. Weekday still not that bad but come to weekend and especially these two days :!: .
