You didn't see this at Tampines Giant? I must be so lucky to have gotten a gem at Turf City. :evil: :evil: but frankly speaking, the pot's a little too big. Used it to boil barley yesterday, it was ok.. but today, I asked my maid to boil herbal soup with it, and she filled 3/4 full with the herbs and the little amount of pork ribs... gosh, soup tasted like water!
I wonder if they have 3.5 or 4-litre pot. That would be perfect for soups. Otherwise, I will need to put the whole chicken or duck into pot to fill it to 3/4 for my family of 3.
I know what you mean about the bigger pot, but I tell you, when it comes to parties, the bigger pot is definitely more useful.
Think the standard in the market is 1.8, 2.5 and 6 for Endo. Not sure about other brands and also not sure if 3 to 4 litre capacities are available. -

Yes, definitely agree that the larger pot is very useful for parties and large groups... but at the moment, I need somebody to invite me to a pot-luck party so that I can use my pot.

Excellent for soups, red bean, green bean, curry, porridge, stews etc, from what I gathered in this thread... Not sure about steamed meat and veg tho -

In fact, I have another link, but that link's stored on my desktop. Son using the desktop now, so I will post it maybe after CNY or when I can have access to my desktop again. Think the recipes in this new link that I am going to post is very similar to the one I posted earlier today, but clearer, categorised. Was looking at a boiled fruit cake just now!

Autumnbronze went to Bedok today and she bought not one but two of the glass chopping board that I recommended. She bought both sizes, in both designs bought by schweppes and Augmum the other day! Also bought a cute mini pestle and mortar, I think. -
