            Jennifer:

I chanced upon this ulu looking centre at Beauty World Centre. After talking to the tutor (whose dd was also from Pei Hwa, graduated same year as my elder boy, she is studying in RV now), I decided to enrol him in this centre.
Thanks Jen for the selfless sharing again. If ds outgrows Berries at Sec 1, I'll ask you for the reference. Ok now is my turn for sharing info too as part of CNY posts. DS is taking up science enrichment at Science Buddies around Chun Tin rd. We're paying group tuition fees for 1-to-1 lessons. Why is that so? The reason is apparently no other parents felt that it's worth it to pay for Science enrichment for P1  .

I must stress that those lessons are purely non-academic. DS does experiments and makes art works to illustrate science properties during lessons (read fun). Btw, those topics covered are not even included for PSLE so it's really for general knowledge that I'm sending ds to attend. I like all my kids (oops I forget I only have one) to be able to talk about anything under the sun. Not nec. to always focus on exam related stuff only.

Lastly, I heard that there is a tt table at the basement car park of your condo. You may wish to check it out.

              Happy Mama:

Ok will find a chance to try from both, after CNY... but wet market, that means, got to go very early right? Do you know what time it starts and what time it closes?.. and where's the stall near? Haven't stepped into this wet market before, and haven't been to a wet market for decades. Used to follow my mum when I was a kid. πŸ˜‰

I was told this wet mkt only has 1 roast poultry/char siew stall. On Tues, I was at the wet mkt, saw a long q at this stall (opp the last row of pork stall) and bou 300g of char siew from the stall. The char siew is juicy and not too sweet.

Thanks Jennifer. The thought of it now makes me drool   Definitely will go there to buy the duck, and maybe roast pork and char siew too. πŸ˜‰

Wow! This is one cool uncle! Heehee... Ok I will try it after CNY. Where is the stall? Downstairs at the wet market or upstairs at the hawker centre?[/

                At the Wet Market.
                U Really Must Try it!

Ok thanks funx3, will go try it. πŸ˜‰

Always good to expose kids to different things non-academic related, if can outsource even better. :celebrate:

Maybe if you think you sound like Tina Turner then you can sing in your shower room: 'She works hard for the money, so hard for it honey. She works hard for the money ......\".

But pls be considerate to your neighbours, try not to sing too loudly. :rotflmao:
