vlim, the yusheng is sponsored by a parent who is in the food industry. The child takes the same school bus as my DS. The mum told me that the sch called them to request for the sponsorship. -

Dear Lostbunny,
I also just got to know my daughter in P1 have Lou Hei in class, please also help me thank the sponsor. -
Hi, I would like to hear your opinions on ζ°ζε, which is somewhat like a Chinese magazine with exercises and simple games.
I believe some CL classes in MBS are using it as homework.
Iβve looked through the magazine and it seems to me that the difficulty level is too high. For example, my DD (P2) isnβt familiar with almost one-quarter of the chinese characters used in a cloze passage. Fortunately for her, I was around and helped her with most of the questions.
Does your child need a lot of help when doing the exercises in ζ°ζε?
[Rant] Nowadays, it seems homework is set for the pupils AND their parents! I heard that in the upper levels (P4-6), school projects are actually completed mostly by parents. I really pity those kids whose parents canβt help. -
The cloze passage is ok for my dd. The only issue I have with this new edition is that the choices given were too close to each other and hence sometimes my dd takes a longer time to read through all of them again.
I haven't had the chance to look at her textbook but is ζζι«ε ΄ taught? This was found in the ζ°ζε issue for lesson 3. She stumbled on this one but remembered she read this somewhere in her storybooks.
Do you find that there are many hw for CL? No CL hw for 1 day is like a bonus to her. -
Iβve checked with the CL teacher. It is true that some of the words are θ§ι’ε which are words that have shown up in the textbooks but never formally tested. (But I still feel some words used in ζ°ζε may have never even shown up previsouly.)
I think my dd needs catching up. Whatβs the best way to pick up new words?
Maybe I need to prepare a full list of words that she should have seen in her textbooks and drill her.
