      Blissfulmum:
I think the school was asking for empty red packets for donation...on their week 2 notification. It was a project by parentlink.

Is that the one u all are talking abt??
I don't think titank was referring to this. He was expecting the teacher to put some money in the empty red packet. 😉 :siam: (JK)

Titank, did your son tell you he had to bring an empty red packet to class?

No, no not expecting the Teacher give $$ in red packet. Maybe I had confused with the Parentlink or the notification where mentioned bring empty red packets.

              Hi All,

I was informed by my DS that there is going to be a MT test this week. Wah! this is really tough …having a test after the CNY holidays. Is this the same case for the other classes as well?

Happy New Year to all mommies and daddies! My dd was sick throughout the CNY period... she has been absent for 1 week already... Today's her first day back in school.

I heard from a friend that there's a MT test this week too. My dd did not say anything (as usual!)

BTW, do you all remember if spelling and Tingxie will contribute to the overall results?

Perhaps it's only under Huang Lao Shi? My son wasn't aware of any MT test this week. :scratchhead:

Don't think so. The marks are allocated only for the byte size tests. Will check with the teachers.

If it is based on the awards received, yes. I don't think the school will be in the Top 20 if you take into consideration these awards, as well as the PSLE results. (Perhaps Mrs Wong would like to advise?) 😉

This article is interesting. RMPS in the Top 20 primary school list is based on which year edition?

In KSP forum the ranking is different as it is computed against the top 275 PSLE aggregate points.

This year, the teachers will not give advanced notice when tests will be conducted. The teachers will observe the students and decide when the tests will take place.

So, perhaps, your son's class is ready for the test? :scratchhead:
