1 more ballot chance during 2010 P1 registration for citizen

Sorry just being kaypo as my DD is now already in primary one this year.


As until today I just realised that every primary schools under Phrase 2C is always left only around 2 classes or a bit more only ....

Always 3 times more applicants balloting\"More Popular school\" (mostly within 1km) for Phrase 2C . I can fully understand the stress as I went through it before. Your heart is like stopping every seconds.... ... .... .....

Previously I thought of doing PV also , but I have a younger son to take care of so.... no choice loh.

\"Extra ballot\" to me is like U buy \"24 Beat\" for 4D ,more chances only
pay more even still not guarantee to sure win. Same logic, no much difference for having one more extra ballot.

It will make the citizen's chances less actually. Reason is very simple, phase 2B is the grey area and PR will actually all go for this phase. Chances for citizen's at phase 2B will then be less. ...

Dear moulin, unfortunately, I don't see the logic in your argument. By having an additional ballot, citizens' chances of getting into any Phase would be increased, albeit not \"doubled\" as it might imply. And the probability of qualifying for Phase 2B is the same for both citizens and PRs.

Can I check with the more knowledgeable… so 2 balloting tickets have to be put into the same school? Can I put one balloting slip in school A and another in School B in say, phase 2B? Tks.

Hi esmummy, 2 balloting tickets would be in the school of choice. At any point of time, the child can only be registered in one school.

Wonder what you meant by \"the masses\". When the government said \"balloting slip\", it meant one school. The scenario you mentioned in your previous post is a totally different issue.

You can register in ONLY one school even if you can do PV in more than 2. As for the 2 balloting slips for Singaporeans, there are some lucky ones who got chosen not once but twice. My friend's daughter was the first one to be picked...along the way, her name was picked again...TWICE.

Actually, I think that if the name was picked twice , this piece should not be counted, and thus this chance should be given to another parents.The schools should pick one more time.
