Actually, I think that if the name was picked twice , this piece should not be counted, and thus this chance should be given to another parents. The schools should pick one more time.

Or the balloted twice piece was considered counted?
If the child's name is picked twice, the second slip doesn't count.

Just to learn the system a little more.

Say we have 30 applying for balloting and it is made up of 25 Singaporeans and 5 PRs.

        So there will be 25 (Singaporeans) x 2 = 50 + 5 (PRs) slips = 55 slips to be balloted. Is that correct? šŸ˜„

You can register in ONLY one school even if you can do PV in more than 2. As for the 2 balloting slips for Singaporeans, there are some lucky ones who got chosen not once but twice. My friend's daughter was the first one to be picked...along the way, her name was picked again...TWICE.

I understand that the second slip doesn't count. But will the school picked another slip then?

Logically the school should pick another slip.

If the second slip is not counted, of course the school will pick another slip.

Anyone know that if triplets , how the balloting slips counted as? I understand that there's 2 choices.

                        1) Put one name and if picked then all three goes in.(2 Balloting slips only?)

                        2) Put all three names and not all being picked and I understand it considers the picked child's name goes in only but is it with total 6 balloting slips then? :?
