Hi, thanks for your explanation. This will benefit parents looking for dental treatment for their kids.

Anyone has experience with Pre-Orthodontic Trainer http://www.myoresearch.nl/t4k_abt.html or has any idea where to get this in Singapore?

I have heard of this product but as i was not trained in its usage or application, i would not be able to comment on its efficacy and application value to your child's malocclusion.
I think it would be best to consult a pediatric dentist or an orthodontist as to whether this product can help your child's malocclusion or if another treatment plan would be a better alternative.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Would you know if this is available in Singapore at all?
A friend bought this for her daughter in Jakarta and he commented that it did wonders aligning her DD’s teeth. That’s why I’m asking about its availability here.
If it’s really able to do what it claims in a mere 1 hour a day, then it beats prolonged wearing of braces in the future. -

My DD had such a trainer fitted about 7-8 years ago. She wore it only at nights, and it helped align her teeth and stopped her night time teeth grinding too. We had it done in Singapore, though I recall that when it was first recommended by the dentist, it was a rather new thing then. I found it good and served its purpose, though initially when DD first wore it, it kept dropping out onto the pillow during the night. Believe most dentists would have available such trainers. -
Thanks CMF.
Wow…didn’t realise it has been around that long. Do you remember how much it cost? -
BigDevil:
Sorry I don't recall the costs, although I believe cheaper in the long run vs braces. My DD went through two sets when her mouth \"outgrew\" the first set. I believe worth checking out cos there is less discomfort vs braces. Thanks CMF.

My friend said he paid S$100 - 200 each?
If that’s indeed the cost, then it beats paying $4k - $5k for braces!! Will definitely check out the trainer.
Thanks! -

It could be that price now. Then I could have paid between $400-$600+. But definitely cheaper than braces, it's what I recall. My friend said he paid S$100 - 200 each?

Hi CMF, I called up a few dentists but none seems to carry the trainer.
Can PM me the detail of your DD’s dentist?
