        Hi parents and all ,

I was once a student in RVPS and I can say I really enjoyed the school life in RVPS . So do most , or all of my friends . If you have questions you can ask me about it ... I will try to help you 🙂

also, i find it difficult to remember which \"combination\" of the PE-attire/ formal sch uniform, kids need to wear. According to student handbook, half PE-attire after PE lesson. Why cant students simply wear PE-attire throughout the day? so cumbersome for them to change...

separately, i was surprise to find tat P1 level EL is relatively \"relaxing\". my dd was doing penmanship....smth which i thot kids are expected to noe/do b4 entering P1....& that spelling is only for 5 words! 😄

can anyone share how hectic CCA is for students ? my boy has CCA on Mon & Wed....was just informed that he needs to attend tournament as well.... so his afternoon schedule for the next 2 weeks would be packed fr Mon to Thurs! in my opinion, this is bery hectic. :imdrowning: is this the norm?
I guess the only way to make parents less confuse is to feedback and let the school mgt know...which i may be concern about some stuff like...my boy is not drinking water now in school cux he is not allowed to go toilet etc etc etc...

Really? CL homework everyday? Mmh, my dd doesnt hv that...strange....
Maybe cos the focus is now more on the \"holistic\" part, written homework/ schoolwork is not much......looking forward to the PTM on Feb 18 to find out more fr the school/ teacher....

Btw, anyone gg for the HYPY class this Friday?

And next Friday "meet the teachers day", we actually have only half an hr to go to their classroom to meet the form teacher is it…

Isn’t it too short? tot it will be like one to one meeting like in kindergarten time?

The principal - simple email to feedback , you can find the email address from the school website not a complaint letter as bad as it sounds ... least you know the grounds where the mgt is coming from for the kids in RVPS.

hie, i attended last fri session on how P1 are being assess now that there is no formal exams.....frankly the session was quite a challenge for me to keep my focus (aka not to day dream) ...

if i hear correctly, RVPS is among the 16 schools to start on this holistic assessment (there was previously a pilot run with a few other schools)

there would oni be SA2 at the end of P2. I still find it hard to accept the no-exams format.....wonder if kids would get a shock when they sit for SA2 at the end of P2. I also read fr other parents networking grps that other sch have formal test/ exams at P1 level.....mmhh... still undecided whether should i be overly concern with the lack of formal test/ exam assessments... :?
