And next Friday "meet the teachers day", we actually have only half an hr to go to their classroom to meet the form teacher is it…

Isn’t it too short? tot it will be like one to one meeting like in kindergarten time?

who is part of the school mgt? whom should we feedback to?

The principal - simple email to feedback , you can find the email address from the school website not a complaint letter as bad as it sounds ... least you know the grounds where the mgt is coming from for the kids in RVPS.

hie, i attended last fri session on how P1 are being assess now that there is no formal exams.....frankly the session was quite a challenge for me to keep my focus (aka not to day dream) ...

if i hear correctly, RVPS is among the 16 schools to start on this holistic assessment (there was previously a pilot run with a few other schools)

there would oni be SA2 at the end of P2. I still find it hard to accept the no-exams format.....wonder if kids would get a shock when they sit for SA2 at the end of P2. I also read fr other parents networking grps that other sch have formal test/ exams at P1 level.....mmhh... still undecided whether should i be overly concern with the lack of formal test/ exam assessments... :?

have anyone received the name tag for P1? was told by the sch bookshop tat they wld inform parents when ready for collection…but till now i hv not heard fr sch bookshop

its odd that it takes so long to have the name tag made…i wld think that students shld hv the name tag when sch starts, this way teachers & classmates would know the names of students/ classmates

Why don’t you call up the school bookshop to ‘chase’? As far as I know, the bookshop has changed hands.

The bookshop does not have a land line. If you need the mobile number of the bookshop attendant, you can PM me. I find it very inconvenient when they do not have a land line number and I need to check if they have stock for certain items. Got to go there physically to check it out and as such, I’ve asked them for their mobile numbers instead

Yes they are taking too long to make the name tag!!! it is more than 3 months!!!!

you may call Angeline @ 9090 7938 from the book shop to chase.
whenever i call, she always say it will be ready next week but it never happened!!!
i have feedback to Mr. Ang from the school admin dept. you may want to do so!
