Move from HDB (ulu loc) to HDB (central) or pte (ulu)
-
Hi Janet,
From what I hear, some of the DBSS are very small as well. Actually most new flats are small. Since you existing flat is such prime location, might as well stay till can upgrade to pte? -
for me is the location..
used to stay in \"ulu\" can't really say \"ulu\" location cuz the town is going to be big waterfront town soon (think you shld be able to guess where
But it is really far!
have change to a centralised location as wanted DS to go to a particular school & once you stay in a centralised location, you will not want to go any other where of sg
for the value, money, convenience, it is worth it.
you might want to decide what is the reason for your shift. some parents will shift as they want to be nearer to their parents / in-laws if their parents or in-laws do help out in taking care of their kids. For me, I think Bishan is over-priced and too crowded, unless you want your kids to go to the school there. -
Hi happy to be mum,
I agree, bishan is overpriced but it is central and the environment seems quiet and nice for the one I went to view it is at Brighthill Drive nearer Thomson side.
I feel location quite important, the price of our EM at ulu place so hard to fetch good price. -
Btw, anyone heard of HDB terraces? Worth to consider?

for condo, maybe you can consider the executive condo which is cheaper in price. -
Hi LOLmum,
Yes Toa Payoh is also good. Are they going to en bloc the bras basah one? -

Brighthill area is quiet and nice; but then will there be any issues on major religious holidays? Not sure how the traffic condition be like during Qing Ming for example.Hi happy to be mum,

And if you are talking about location, why would you want to consider another place (although condo) at another ulu location? -

I was thinking if condo will fetch better price when we sell next time.
