Oh so sad. The zoo trip was cancelled last minute due to the heavy downpour. the teacher called at about 11 am to inform the bad news.


I understand that it will be postponed to after CNY.

Sun_2010: My boy is attending private swimming lessons on Sunday evening.

Tomorrow is CNY eve and my poor boy has to wake up at about 5.30 am. School van will pick him up at about 6.15 am.

I have bought a set of traditional costume for him to wear tomorrow, what about all of you?

Yes it was very sad for the kids when they cancelled the trip yesterday. I had taken leave to be a parent volunteer and was getting ready to leave when I received a call around 11.30 to say that the trip was cancelled. So after dropping of my disappointed DS I went to work.

DS will be wearing a traditional costume. Only feel that the school shoes will clash with the outfit :)(that is Mummy being vain; don't think the kids care!). Don't know how I can going to get him to wake up so early in the \"dark dark morning\" ( as DS calls it).

Which class is your son in? Mine's in I Diligence.

I also took childcare leave and all set to go with the kids. After seeing my boy off, I did some last minute shopping instead of going back to work.

My boy's school shoes will not match the outfit too. Guess he will not be bothered too. He has been singing the new year songs which they have been practising in school. I will remind him again tonight that he has to wake up real early tomorrow morning so as to prepare him mentally.

DS is excited abt school tmr. Dont worry abt the shoes- we know it doesnt gel but for them its not odd.

Sun_2010: My DS managed to wake up on New Year’s eve morning. Guess he was excited too. Holiday is over and everything is back to normal again.

He went with his outing bag... without any books and he ended up coming home with scraps of paper containing schoolwork.
