anyone gets the nod for PV batch 2010 (P1 in 2011) at Southview yet? I’m waiting for the reply from e school…getting very nervous.

May I check, if you do PV, are you expected to continue your service throughout the years your kids’ studies?

Mmm, most schools would expect u to do so, and ask for your committment during the PV selection interview (if there is one). But they cannot force you if u keep acting blur after ur kids get into the school I guess?

I guess most the PV once fullfilled the 40 hours & subsequently the child enter the Primary School then very likely they do not continue PV.

just got the acceptance to PV with SVPS. looking fwd to it.
for my case, if my child got in for P1, i’ll be interested to join the Parent Support grp cos I like to be involved as much as possible with e sch so I know wat’s going on. but then again, when the times come…i’ll c if time permits. -

it depends on sch too...i heard for some really popular sch there's even ballot at ph2b cos it not only consists of PV but those from grassroots etc.

for SVPS case, so far past history shows no ballot for P2B which I hope remains true when it's my turn to register. cos for my batch of PV the sch has started interview system as the applications for PV is a lot according to the Principal. so with the interview sys, they hope to minimize possibility of ballot at P2b and disappoint parents after all the hardwork of pv. -
