JEI Math good for preparatory to P1. However, when it come to upper primary, JEI Math is more a supplementary. Its after all still a foreign programme. Upper Pri focus should problem solving skills. The PSLE Math worksheet this week for my P6 was tough. Apparently the whole class can only solve one question out of 18 questions.

I wonder is this centre suitable for upper Pri kids? :?

The teachers are friendly. Michelle strict. Jason is good. Can only comment on Jason as he teaches my son & Mich as she sometimes cover Jason. Very dedicated. He and Michelle do regular free extra lessons for P6 students who are weak.

                      Hi Sydney/24hr-mum,

I have a P2 girl. She find math difficult and I am worried she will grow to hate the subject. I did some surfing and notice your conversation.

Before I make a trip to Marine Parade, hope I can hear your opinion about their programme since both of you have seen their workbooks and spoken to them.

Do they do hard selling like some tuition school?

                      Thanks!

no. they dont hard sell. their materials are really gd.

for p2, wil be jei + problem sum (they call it psle math prog for the prob sums part)

the jei is very close to moe syllabus, better than mpm or enopi in this aspect.

i m gvg it a try. their amk br will open end mar or early apr
the prob sum is esp gd.
