JEI/PSLE Math - Discussion
-
one thing is these taiwan/korea materials they hv own syllabus, and quite rigid.
also for enopi, they dont cover $ and Time. the rest of the topics yes -
Did u checkout jei centre?
Good to talk to Jason to find out more abt the Maths course they offer.
I'm sure he will be able to address your concerns. He addressed mine last year.

yup met jason today. their jei bklets are really similar to our p1 syllabus. eg 10 + _____=11. nvr seen in mpm or enopi.
the relevance is there.
marine parade too far.
i m thinkg of amk brr but hvnt spoke to the owner. worried the teacher not nice. -
JEI Math good for preparatory to P1. However, when it come to upper primary, JEI Math is more a supplementary. Its after all still a foreign programme. Upper Pri focus should problem solving skills. The PSLE Math worksheet this week for my P6 was tough. Apparently the whole class can only solve one question out of 18 questions.

wow!
jason said the amk teacher will be rebecca and yuting/michelle
do u know they are gd / nice or not? -

The teachers are friendly. Michelle strict. Jason is good. Can only comment on Jason as he teaches my son & Mich as she sometimes cover Jason. Very dedicated. He and Michelle do regular free extra lessons for P6 students who are weak.wow!
