You are welcome.
Yes, I also don't mind getting some more past issues of Young Scientist. Because when ds has nothing to read, then he'll come and bug me and I cannot concentrate on KSP.Happy Mama:
Ya, but I thought you were looking for past issues of Young Scientist? :?
Thanks Happy Mama. You made me Happy Papa today.
You may also want to let your DS try Science Spy. I thought it's quite good. I prefer it to Young Scientist.
Our S'pore Science Centre publishes a very good Science magazine.
Really? Do you know how much is the subscription? Do we need to be a member of Science Centre before getting the magazine? I used to join Science Centre / Omni for the past few years but don't recall receiving any magazines from them.

Popular IMM has Horrible Sci. You can bring ds there to try reading it before deciding whether to buyGot a query. DS devoured the Young Scientist vol I got from Popular within one mth. He's crazy over it. I've also ordered online this yr's issues but it's coming in drips and drops at one issue per mth. So now I need to find some more books to keep up with his interest.
I'm thinking of getting him the National Geographic Kids & Horrible Science (what's that anyway? Only thing I know is that CKS bought it so can't be bad). Is Horrible Science too advance for P1? The other option is to get Young Scientist Level 2 from Popular.
Thing is, I prefer cash & carry. I don't mind past yr issues. Is there anywhere I can take a look at them before buying? Don't think Popular has. Thanks. -
Happy Mama:
Okie dokie. Btw, can only order online for Science Spy?

DS is chasing me away from my notebook already, come back later after he sleeps. -

Markfch, you can expose your DS to Horrible History and Horrible Geography too... but History and Geography always out of stock.

Yah, I got my Young Scientist from English Corner website. You mean they also sell National Geographic Kids & Horrible Science? Sorry to ask this basic qn cos now their website is down.
As for Asian Geographic (Junior), you can check with the publisher for past series. I recently bought 1 copy of it (through Trapwithin's recommendation) and was trying to look for the publisher for you, but I think my DD has misplaced it somewhere... -
markfch:
Me too.. and each time, we never fail to buy something from Popular... If not assessments, then story books or pens, erasers, files, etc etc
Singapore stores too exp for the Horrible and Murderous series - S$16 each. Buy the whole set online from UK is cheaper about S$2-3 before freight.
As for AsianGeo Junior.. I like it.
