Yes, letter only for clan members, and this is not a confirmation the child got in. Clan members who DO have the letter will join in the pool with PV and grassroots members.

And yes again, PV work does not guarantee entry. It only allows you to register during 2B.

Balloting will occur if demand exceeds supply. In such cases, the distance factor will come in. First they satisfy the less than 1km, and see what's left. Then those 1-2km and see what's left. etc etc.

I think Mee Toh is another hot place to be. You may want to check up on the registration history.

As for academic excellence, if I remember correctly, this is only a mark of individuals who scored superbly during the psle and may not be indicative of what the whole school has achieved. Just repeating known wisdom: it's what you do with your child that makes the most difference. Children in academically top schools have been known to do badly; children in academically weak schools have been known to perform. So don't fret too much on that score.

And does my baptism cert help in registering in MGS? We are 1-2km from MGS.

To qualify for P2B at MGS, you would need to be a Methodist, so your Presbyterian baptism cannot be used. Not sure about Pei Hwa though, whether a baptism cert will suffice, or you need a letter from a church stating you are an active member. Best to check directly with the school.

Hi, I am new here. Appreciate any experienced parents could share with us usually when would the application for P1 Registration Phase 2B start, what is the procedure? [note: I meant when we need to obtain the applcation form from SHKK, what is the procedue to apply the recommendation from SHKK

Heard from 1 parent, the application form need some council member from SHKK's signautre, if this is the case, who will help us to get this signature. Also the website of SHKK mentioned, \"You will be informed by the School if your application is successful.\" If this is the case, Usually when the school will notify us, if failed, is it really no chance to appeal??

can i ask, if i joing the HHHK, and don’t want to be PV, is there a pre-requisite on how many years i need to be member in HHHK before im eligible for the 2B ballotting? just to explore some option…
