NYPS has 4 GEP classes. RGPS has 3 GEP classes. I believe most of the others only have 2 GEP classes. Not sure if any of the other centres have 3 GEP classes. -
Here is website to check the number of GEP classes.

Not sure why Tao Nan has 2 classes in P4 but 3 classes in P5/6. -
KSP:
They probably had lower intake last year which could only fill up 2 classes. Here is website to check the number of GEP classes.

Not true. Everyone in 2B stands equal chance. If demand is > places available, then balloting is required.
Thanks Busymom.
Is that true? :?dorisp:
each year Pri 1 registration under phase 2B, a certain percentage or certain number of seats is being set aside, to those who apply under rc category.

I personally think SCGS is better. My impression is, their academic results are better. -

20 places will be allocated for RC members but dont think it will be easy coz it is hard to get into this con. RC because a lot of name schools are here.any parents here who do rc work, and manage to enter NYPS ?
bec i heard rc stands higher chance compared to pv, pv doesnt guarantee in the event supply > demand, hence ballot which depends on luck.
any idea for each year Pri 1 entry, roughly how many places are allocated for rc ?
Err rephase to be more specific, they try to limit those RC members to a certain number so that all of them stands a good chance in balloting if any.
And also like in my dd year, we got info that there were 20 RC \"indicative\" to be balloting in NYPS so only 30 PV were accepted. The school in a way montitor such number so those in the PV stands a good chance.
