      Dear all,

      Synthesis & Transformation:
Animals held in capivity in zoos do not learn how to survive in the wild. They also do not know how to escape from predators.
      In addition…

      Thank-you.

      Cheers,
      Belle

          Let me try :

In addition to not learning how to survive in the wild, animals held in captivity do not know how to escape from predators.

Would appreciate knowing if this answer is acceptable in Spore schools.

Hi! anyone would like to try:

You cannot be too frank with Matthew. He will feel offended.
            __________________________ without _________________.

            Thanks.

You cannot be too frank with Matthew without offending him. (???)

                I think
\"You cannot be too frank with Matthew without him feeling offended.\"

is better because one gets the impression from the two given sentences that it's not the intention of the one being frank who wants to create an offence. Rather, it's Matthew who took offence.

                Does this make sense?

In this form, I'd go for

\"You cannot be very frank with Matthew without him feeling offended.\"

                    S&T

Q: \"Do you speak Japanese?\"the tourist asked me.
A: The tourist asked me if I spoke Japanese.

Is it wrong to answer \"...if I speak Japanese.\"
Using spoke, it seems to indicate the skill is no longer there ?
