Hi qms, I heard from the horses' mouth that P1s to P5s do not have CAs. Only P6s will have CAs. You may want to double check with the school. Maybe even if the kids get tested, it is purely revision. I don't think it will be counted for year end exams.preggie:
Has any of your kids taken the tests already?
I thought the weekly notification indicated the tests would only take place in Weeks 8 and 9? :scratchhead:
It's Week 7 now, right?

Hi Happy Mama!
Not sure about where your horses come from, but it is indicated in the website that all P3-P5 will have CAs and SA2. In fact, the weightage is 30%/70%.
For P2, they don't call it CAs. They have bite size tests that make up 25% per term. In Term 4, it will be 25% for SA2. -

:? strange... Then that someone senior there must have given me wrong information, or maybe I may have heard wrongly (though I'm positively sure I didn't get it wrong).... :?Hi Happy Mama!

Fortunately or Unfortunately my DS has been 'invited' to take part in the Health & Wellness Program.. :slapshead:
Anyone else kenna arrow?
My son was very happy abt it..:dancing: saying if he does it, he can get stickers for a chance to play Wii in school...I am speechless..... :stupid:
I have a friend whose son was slim but was called up last year for this program...so I wonder if this is really meant for the 'obese'. -

My DD was in this program when she was P1. My DD is always over-weight since she was born. I liked this program, instead of chit chat with others, she has to be running during recess time at that period.Fortunately or Unfortunately my DS has been 'invited' to take part in the Health & Wellness Program.. :slapshead:

Thank you for sharing. Actually , I am secretly very happy that he is joining the program...because i have been trying to make him lose weight to no avail ( giving him less food and exercising more). You know when you stay with you in laws they tend to feed the kids saying you dont give them enough ...how can they grow????? It has been my constant struggle with them.

When the letter came yesterday, I happily :rubhands: 'showed off' to them saying ...now their precious grandson has to go \"Tough Club\" and it somewhat shock them. Heee....heee....
But the thing I dont understand was why my friend's kid was sent to the program even though you can clearly see that he is NOT obese/fat or anything close to that... :?
