Hihi Mummies,


May I know if there are any ballet school that allows a parent to be in the class with their kid as my girl is very shy and clingy. Hopefully a school near town, Bt. Merah, Tanjong Pagar, Orchard area etc.

North area....Yishun South CC and Chong Pang CC...I company my dd since Pre-primary till now G6. Still enjoying watching her dancing once a week.... :lol:

I’ve learned ballet from 3 teachers and most do not allow parents to stay with the kids because it’s a distraction for the kids.

I don't think there are ballet schools who allow parents to view lessons, especially at Grade 6. At pre-primary or primary, maybe. My dd's ballet teacher would cover up the windows etc to the studio so the parents couldn't peep in. Easier to torture the girls that way.

Usually I order from my teacher. Otherwise some of the shops that sell ballet stuff are Costume Connection in Bugis and Sonata. I don’t know any in west area though.

any of your girls with The School of Dance (Macpherson branch) now? my girl is 4yrs and trying for their trial class this weekend. Currently only Teacher Tan Jia Jia and Teacher Selina conducting her age group.Anyone know which one is better? Can share with me more?

i tried to get into dancepointe in sengkang but their schedule is not suitable. any suggestion for those who live in sengkang, where do u send ur girl to ballet class? thanks to recommend.

My SIL staying in Sengkang too but she send my niece to a ballet school in Tampinese Safra.maybe u can check it out there. Sengkang to Tampinese is not far if you drive.
