Yes, same class.
paiseh, need to ask you abt this Monday art assignment. My boy brou back some irregular shapes (artblock paper material). Are the children supposed to trace the outline and then do free expression drawing? Any theme?
IJJ, What did your dd said since they have the same teacher. -
IJJ:
I almost forgot to mention, that piece of work, after bringing to and fro, it was like a piece of salted vegetable. I wonder how that serious teacher is going to give her her art grade.
mine is the same. When I asked him why didn't use the arts folio, simply replied me no need. Same teacher same pattern hoh. -
S6169:
What online game is he playing?dyh:
[My son even received call from friend to ask my son to complete a certain game level online for him. I asked my son why waste your time, but he said he does not mind...

Hm, an outsource art teacher. Brings to my mind the hip hop instructor’s suitability to handle young children. Wonder who in the sch is in charge of vetting outsource professionals?
If I want to "complain" abt this teacher, do I write to the FT? Or to sch admin? -
Jennifer:
Should be addressed to HOD Aesthetics, Mr Tan.

I am not comfortable with the present arrangement of two classes attending the lesson under a \"teacher\". Imagine a NIE trained full time teacher handling a class of 40 children and a possibly non-NIE trained personnel managing a group of 80 children.
It's no wonder my boy does not understand what Mr. Chin wants. He has this prob with sitting in a big group when attending lessons. -

 Your little missy is so cute!
In order to ensure that her art piece will not become a salted vege, I got her a thick PVC tube custom-cut to about 31 cm from the convenient store for her to roll and slot in her art piece. I realised that the drawing paper provided by the teacher to do the specified art pieces is bigger than the normal drawing block size so it doesn't fit into their art folio. The edges will be torn easily if exposed. She can also put the PVC tube into her school bag. -
Hi Periwinkle,
Are you or hubby attending the P5 briefing today ?
Hubby is attending as kids have CL tuition. He just attending P1 briefing last night.
How do you find Maths ? It's really in-depth
The Maths CA is split into 2 'sessions' - first part without calculator, followed by another paper with calculator. -
My DD actually likes Mr Stanley Chin, purely because she says his drawings are very pro and very realistic. She told me, \"Yes, he's strict, but he has a good sense of humour....\"... There was one day, he also made a joke out of his surname and told the class... \"When you think of double chin, do not think of Stanley Chin\"

My P4 boy told me he scolds at least 7 pupils during each lesson. I am very surprised to learn abt this as I hv an idealistic image of someone involved in the arts to be a very patient and gentle person.
I think the sch shld assign a teacher/admin staff to sit in during such outsource sessions. We shld prevent a similar case of an overzealous hip hop instructor.
