Can I just check when is your child CA starting?

How is hw load for everyone this week?

Mine quite a few but alot to cope cos ds has piano exam to go on next week.

This week seems to have quite a lot of works to do. The CA1 will be on 28 February.

BTW, I wish your son all the best and score a high distinction in his piano exam. :celebrate:

DD's CA1 is starting on the 28 Feb. Only 9 more days to go... :nailbite: DD told me she's not ready yet. Teacher is still piling the class with HW. This week has been a busy week for DD as started EL & CL creative writing supp lessons conducted at sch by external vendors.

Same here the CA1 is also starting 28 Feb. We also don't have much time for revision since her maths and science enrichment class has started. Hopefully the revision done in the class will be sufficient to cover.

She's Lamenting that that is One day After Her B'day ....

Not hoping for any high distinction, as long as ds is able to clear this grade 7, I will be very happy cos can put piano one side and focus on psle.

For dd school, HCL test will usually arrange to be in the last.

However, look like both of you are belong to 乐天派, as such no problem lah. Wish your dd a happy birthday on 24 Feb and may all her wishes come true. :celebrate:

Thank you for your good wishes.

Their CA1 tests only EMS and not sure how they will account for CL. If they take into account of CL spelling, CL compo and Worksheets that do during this period then may stand a chances to get above 90. The other 3 subjects yet to know especially Science are tested with the new topics of Energy and P3 to P5 topics.

I guess every school has different system of grading.You have EMS, and ours only just math, I also dont know how they are going to do the overall ca, since no marks for the other three subjects.

Anyway, we are not doing any dsa so its just a dry run.
