Hi Brenda,

Yes travelling time can be consuming if taking classes outside.

So, your school is giving your dd dual sci and math enrichment since one is conducted by teacher and one is by vendor.

How many days she has to stay back in school?

      Cheers
      Leanne

      Hi Brenda,

      That sounds hectic.

It means stay back for supp class, and on top of that , still goes to the enrichment class from outside vendor.

      Regards
      Leanne

      Hi Leanne

Yes. We can start feel it after CNY even though the enrichment classes are conducted in the school. I think the only benefit is that they save up time in traveling.
DD's CA1 is starting on the 28 Feb. Only 9 more days to go... :nailbite: DD told me she's not ready yet. Teacher is still piling the class with HW. This week has been a busy week for DD as started EL & CL creative writing supp lessons conducted at sch by external vendors.

Good luck to your DS with his piano exams. :celebrate:

                Hi Tinkerbelle

Same here the CA1 is also starting 28 Feb. We also don't have much time for revision since her maths and science enrichment class has started. Hopefully the revision done in the class will be sufficient to cover.

                Hi Brenda,
Ya, I share the same sentiments. Told DD that hopefully she can absorb everything at sch when teacher revises with the class....Good luck to your DD with her CA1.

                    Hi Brenda,

I guess every school has different system of grading. You have EMS, and ours only just math, I also dont know how they are going to do the overall ca, since no marks for the other three subjects.

Anyway, we are not doing any dsa so its just a dry run.
Hi Brenda,

                    Thanks.

Not hoping for any high distinction, as long as ds is able to clear this grade 7, I will be very happy cos can put piano one side and focus on psle.

All the best to your dd CA.Am sure she will do very well.

                    Cheers

                    Hi Leanne

Thank you for your good wishes.

Their CA1 tests only EMS and not sure how they will account for CL. If they take into account of CL spelling, CL compo and Worksheets that do during this period then may stand a chances to get above 90. The other 3 subjects yet to know especially Science are tested with the new topics of Energy and P3 to P5 topics.
Hi Leanne,

Wow!! Grade 7 ......Very impressive! Your DS can DSA with that, can't he? Heard from friends that some sec schs have MEP that allow students to DSA with a minimum of Grade 5 for piano.
