Is this entire 4 paragraphed CDS meant for dictation?

Hi,

Am asking this question on behalf on my brother. He's an old boy of Tao Nan and is thinking of sending his dd to the school in a few years time. He claimed that he heard that the school is shifting. He's not sure if it's a temporary move due to PRIME or a permanent shift to a new location. Can anyone help to verify this? :?:

Hi mummies,is it true that children attending TNS usually can read quite well?


I was just asking a mum abt reading level for k2 to be able to cope well for TNS p1…she said most children r good readers - example geronimo stilton n magic treehouse series for p1… As in they have progressed onto chapter books.

Is that the requirement?or the norm?

I don't think this is a requirement but probably, given that parents nowadays are more involved with their kids and a lot of pre-school kids have enrichment and tuition, I suspect it is more of a norm. In any case, it is always good to cultivate the reading habits from young.

I dun know abt the P2s, but the P1s received the form "2011 P1 & P2 Badminton Enrichmnt Programme" the other week… The closing date stated 23rd Feb. And 1st session will start on 7th March. Maybe you can try contacting the IC - Mdm Lai Cai Qin at 9735 6469, as stated in the form.
