All About Parent Volunteers (PV)

Will admit that I haven’t read all 200 pages. But I’m wondering if anyone can tell me…

I intend to move within 1km of the school I want to send my child to. But right now property too high!

So, is it possible to apply for PV (hopefully get) and do PV first. Come 2-3 yrs when it’s time to apply, use the new address?

Different school would have different cut off time. Pls. call the school(s) of your choice(s) for the details.

I'm supposed to apply for PV this yr and do it next yr. There's still two yrs for me to monitor property prices but have to apply for PV now.

You are supposed to apply for PV this year for 2007 children. You should call the school and ask…fast!

Any parents out there applied as PV at Rosyth School and was successful? Please share with me your experience as I’m keen to apply as PV at this school but understand it is very tough to get selected. Your advise will be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

to those interested to do PV for NanChiao, i just talked te one of the admin staff, (for Y2007 born child) he said we can start to apply from Oct 2011(this year), they will upload the application form in Oct. we submit the form either via email or submit to the school personally. the application period is from oct 2011 to June 2012. Then if they need you, they will call you up to do PV from Oct 2012 to June 2013. Our kids have to register for Primary school enrollment from Jul 2013.


We have to clock 40 hours. it all depends on wat Volunteering work they have…
i wonder if they decided to call us, and after 1 year, there is not enough 40 hours, then how?
