I’ve an extremely bad experience with the principal. The principal not only reject entry of my child after school fees has been paid, the teachers also don’t understand basic instruction, In one case, i informed the teachers that DS is not allowed to eat peanut butter sandwhich as he was just discharged from the hospital. The teachers replied to me that they will only take instructions of the principal. The whole episode ended after i file a case with small claims. I still prefer the previous management little jumbo educare. At least the teachers from the previous management shows the kids more care and family environment.

To be frank, aft sheffield kidzworld mcys allocate DS to NTUC Childcare at compassvale. DS scream n yell everyday when i drop him to school. Finally one day when i took 1/2 day and peep outside the school, then i realise that DS was left alone at the library not allowed to interact with other kids. No wonder he will throw things out the window and push the book shelves to attract attention. The teachers make him sleep beneath the matteress shelves. Feeling upset with all this, i withdraw him from NTUC and switch him to the childcare at 140++ Rivervale opposite the temples. They equally can't manage DS. Finally i gave up those childcare in sengkang and enrolled DS into cherie hearts. DS enjoys school and we have no problem with the standard of teachers there.

In my opinion, i don't mind spending more $$ if the service and quality is good. Those HDB void deck childcare don't suit DS and they are not able to draw a boundary to him as to wat is allowed and wat is not.

Is isolating children a practice of My first skool(NTUC)?

I’ve had seen this happening in other center to.Very upset! Whenever i was there i would play with this particular poor boy who was isloated.Reason:Bites his friend for nth…
Why would he bite his friend for nth?Even if he did they are responsible to teach him NOT to do it instead of avoiding it.
Anw everytime i went there i would play with him and he would just be so elated.Really heartpain that he’s there 7-7 everyday just sitting at the corner with a few toys dumped at him.
At first they put 2 chairs to block the exits of that corner.
Then he realised he could push his way through so they stack chairs up so that he can’t push his way out!
              OMG.
Is this a practice of My first skool? If it is i think MCYS HAS to be notified…

The teachers are not teaching the kids with love.. by doing that kids will surely rebel. They will push or fight back. The teachers then say they can't control the kids. I withdraw DS in less than a month. totally disappointed with their system. :x

                  Hi,

Just to share my bit on My First Skool, my girl is at Compassvale Road branch, which i have nothing else but good words for them so far. She and her classmates are happy bunch of kids with the teachers.

Esp one of the teach, Miss Yda(got to mention her name) she is very observant and she can tell us parent what each of our kids are doing in school. good and bad and not just GOOD things alone.

Maybe it depends on which teacher is in charge of the class and also whether the child is able to adapt to the environment ? im not sure… but so far so good for me, im preparing to enroll my boy too.
