Hi Ivy and Tango907, welcome to the forum. Glad to see this family is growing. Hope you find this forum informative.

The kids from 1A, B and C will start the swim saver program next month. I sure look forward to it. My DS is a bit of afraid of water. I hope he will be able to conquare his fear. Anyone planning to see the kids at the swimming complex?

        Hi Rejoice,

I'm a bit worried about the swimming lessons too, cos my son loves to play in the swimming pool but refuses to take swimming lessons. It's a good chance for them to conquer their fears now, thought beta dun go see them....haha...I sounds heartless right...I agree sometimes we have to.

          Hi Ivy,

My son is in 1B too..so we are \"mom-mates\" in theory. Yeah, next month swimming lesson starts and i am preparing myself, mentally, for more lost items. My DS has been losing things and i could easily award him \"Lost of the Ring\"...

          Hi Tango,
Welcome onboard. A good platform to share more about PSG and hopefully can recruit more PSGs.. 😉

            Hi Ivy

I won’t show up at the swimming complex too. Think it is too nerve racking. Plus DS may become too whimpy when mom is around :-). Hope he won’t get a lot of scolding on the first day. I wonder at the end of the program wll DS be able to swim a few stroke. If not will need to find him a good coach to continue.

                Hi Ivy,

In parenthood forum, you get to see some strange but commonly used abbrev. DS = Dear Son, DD = Dear Daughter.

This is my intepretation and hope i am on the right track…haha.

Talking about track - morning runs commence tomorrow for P1.

cheers and happy running to all the kiddos!

                  Hi Ivy and Astee,

It took me quite a while to figure out what is DS and what is DD. Now I am using it regularly in the forum. Save a few typing

I sure hope my DS will grow to love swimming. He has sensitive airway since small. Hope swimming can help him out grow this issue. I wonder if the kids will just walk to the swimming complex or if there will be a bus. Bringing about 90 active kids on foot could be a challenge 🙏 Need to prepare my boy mentally too since he is quite reluctant to get his head wet whenever we go to the pool.

                    Hi Rejoice,

Yes, the children would be walking to the swimming complex as it's located just a stone throw away. For the swimming outing, school also required PSG (Parents support Group) help to assist the class teachers. 😄
