Hi Ivy,
In parenthood forum, you get to see some strange but commonly used abbrev. DS = Dear Son, DD = Dear Daughter.
This is my intepretation and hope i am on the right trackโฆhaha.
Talking about track - morning runs commence tomorrow for P1.
cheers and happy running to all the kiddos! -

It took me quite a while to figure out what is DS and what is DD. Now I am using it regularly in the forum. Save a few typing
I sure hope my DS will grow to love swimming. He has sensitive airway since small. Hope swimming can help him out grow this issue. I wonder if the kids will just walk to the swimming complex or if there will be a bus. Bringing about 90 active kids on foot could be a challenge
Need to prepare my boy mentally too since he is quite reluctant to get his head wet whenever we go to the pool.

Yes, the children would be walking to the swimming complex as it's located just a stone throw away. For the swimming outing, school also required PSG (Parents support Group) help to assist the class teachers.

Hi Astee,
Are you in PSG? -

Hi Ivy,Hi Astee,
Are you in PSG?
Yes, i rendered my assistance as and when my time permits me to do so.
 -
I am interested to be part of PSG too. But right now juggle with work and another younger son. Hope to settle 2nd DS schooling schedule and work out time to help. May be by the second half of the year I can contribute some.

Hi Rejoice,
Yeah, understood your situation perfectly. Same as you before my DS is in P1, i only contributed on Ad-hoc event. Now that he is in P1 and i can manage more time, so my participation as PSG was Level UP..haha.
You can still register your interest as a PSG and contribute your time as and when you are available. No pressure at all and you will get pleasure out of the PSG time... :boogie: (ps: not promoting anything here, just sharing my own experienced.) -
Hi Astee
Thanks a lot for your advice. Will think about it and see where I can contribute. I am sure it is fun. I just feel bad to sign up before I am sure I can arrange my time wisely. What did you do as PSG? -

Yeah, i had the same concerns too. I think we mommies share alot in common.
Till date, i had volunteered for Food Donations Drive/LJ to Harbour Front/Morning Runs.
cheers! :dancing: -
I even missed the Food Donation drive, my DS did not receive any Newsletter....
