Sure, now in office later when at home i text you. i remember i bought it at Popular and it meant for teachers and parents to read so they can understand the concepts and guide their children..

The first I checked my DD's math worksheet yesterday. I found my DD use both algebra method and modeling method in her worksheet. Teacher gave her full marks so long she was right. But some questions asked for modeling method only.

So it's a fine balance. For the sake of school exams, better to know modelling well to tackle the 'modelling only' questions.

Yes, you are right.

I asked my DD to use modeling method to solve the same problem she once solved with algebra method. She found the modeling method was quite straightforward, and told me these 2 methods are the same concept in the end.
