For those who are weak in mathematical model, maybe try doing this (try that after your CA1, too late now)…
a) Learn an alternative method in problem solving, eg. algebra, unit transfer method, etc…
b) During problem solving, attempt the question using alternative method.
c) Use the model approach for the second attempt. Try to visualise the information you have during the first attempt and put them down as in model. (Note : This is the important part : how to translate the information from one technique into model approach). You have to figure how to do this yourself…hahaha…
Practices make perfect. Keep trying and very soon you will be able to master the techniques and forgo the first method but you can use it for checking purpose. -

Actually, my child has so much more homeworks than last year. It is not uncommon for her to spend hours after hours in study room the moment she comes home till she goes to bed (except meals and piano). Could be a jump from P3 to P4? Her homeworks are 97% from school. I can hardly slot in mine. So stressful right? -
