      I have no doubt my DS will be most happy to do that.

        My dining table too has piles of exam papers/assessment books/guide books staring down at him. Ive always reminded him that its a buffet spread on the dining, pls feel free to tuck in anything he feels like having. He can start with English compo as a starter, science as the main course and maths as desert!

              Would love to start this buffet spread but hubby would most probably be very shocked and cross not to be able to see his dining table top and we have to eat our meals on the floor :!:

                    Wow!! Grade 7 ......Very impressive! Your DS can DSA with that, can't he? Heard from friends that some sec schs have MEP that allow students to DSA with a minimum of Grade 5 for piano. :lol:
                    Which schools? I haven't quite heard. Actually the minimum requirement for MEP is quite low. Only grade 3 theory and grade 4 practical. Some MEP schools will have selection trials, but not all.

                    My p6 boy is not very sure about doing MEP bc I think the theoretical aspect probably doesn't sound too exciting to him. But my elder boy does well in it and this very elective keeps his GPA high each term.

                      Hi Tinkerbelle,

                      DS is not going to do any dsa.Will depend on psle results to apply for school.

                      He will not be opting for MEP program as he does not want to pursue too much into music.

                      Regards

                      Hi Brenda,

                      I guess every school has different system of grading.You have EMS, and ours only just math, I also dont know how they are going to do the overall ca, since no marks for the other three subjects.

                      Anyway, we are not doing any dsa so its just a dry run.

                      Hey[quote=\"Brenda10\"]Hi Leanne

                      Thank you for your good wishes.

                      Their CA1 tests only EMS and not sure how they will account for CL. If they take into account of CL spelling, CL compo and Worksheets that do during this period then may stand a chances to get above 90. The other 3 subjects yet to know especially Science are tested with the new topics of Energy and P3 to P5 topics.

                      Hi Leanne,

                        Can share which school has such MEP and how to do DSA on this? I am very blur in this DSA aspect. DS also has grd 7 practical and Grd 5 theory. Would be great if he can use this for DSA. Thanks in advance for your advice.
