But sometimes the problem with open-ended questions is... the answers are so \"open\". At times DD will argue and reason out with me to prove why she wrote that answer instead of what was reflected in the answer sheet, and sometimes, it does make sense.
My DD1 also facing problems on tackling open and end question - she lost marks in this session for those past years CA1 papers from schoolBrenda10:
I have this book under 5/6. I find it is useful for improving the answer on open and end question.
. So, I know where her weakness and is trying to help her.

I flipped to that Science book under Interactions (P4) and found a question which was almost like duplicated from past year paper.
It's an open-ended question on pulley system. That's another book I will get soon

Hi, Happy Mama - I am facing the same situation too  ......She reasons out with me that such and such answer is correct so I will say,\"Why don't you write the question out and bring to school and check with your teacher?\" And that will ends our battle
. Her Science teacher is very kind and will explain to her. Thankful for such dedicated teacher :celebrate:

The other 'hot' question often asked is the Maglev train for magnets. -

I always like Teachers@Work books - they are very focussed on the details and are very user friendly.I don't like Casco assessment books. I flipped through this assessment book and found that it's not bad. Questions are quite close to exam papers.

Their English series are very good for kids to work on too. -

I was at Popular just nowβ¦decided to get the Process Skills for both lower block and upper block. Then hubby saw PSLE past year papers dating back from 2006 to 2010 at $4 each and got all 4 subjects.
Iβll go through the Science to see the questions asked and answer expected.
