Maybe next time whenever we have need to pass a 'message' to P or Ts, we can make it BOLD with Xtra large fonts and make it RED too. Then Jennifer can update the index on the first page of our thread just for P/Ts so that they don't need to waste time in our chatter and go straight to the point .markfch:

Maybe he heard about the feedback about him through KSP (since many teachers and even P reads this thread) and realised he has to pay more attention to the kids, hence decided to change his approach.

My \"last words\" before I sent her off every morning. Complete as much work as possible in school so you'll bring back less. Haha...E3:

Haiz, our revision time is now at the mercy of their school homework.

I told her you want more free time and play time .. clear your HW faster.
Speed is important, but quality is even more so. Always remind kids

Happy Mama:
Sounds so familiar...can even take break and read in the toilet :peekaboo:E3:
Whenever she felt a little overstretched doing her work, she'll ask for a 5 mins break. During that miserably short break, she'll dive into her storybook...
Yup, mine asked for short 5 minutes break as well, just to read her storybook.
One day, i reminded my gal, try to do school HW asap. When i get home ard 7pm, dont like to see her still in busy for the HW...next day, she told me, she finished her HW soon as she found a good way... i doubted it, what was that way? she explained, when she did one section, she would eager to do simply and fun puzzles which her tutor gave the gift in the Children's day. Thereby, she feeled she would be more likely to concentrate to do her Hw in efficient.
Normally when i sit beside her, i will set up time for her each 'work'. -

(1) P - Encouraging and enabling teachers to spend more time on working out a Workable Teaching Plan for the year
(2) Teachers to help pace our kids with Consistent Workload and avoid piling out last minute overwhelming workload towards exams
(3) Again, workable teaching plans so that Teachers are not caught in last minute rush to cover textbook topics in the last week b4 exams as some kids need more time to understand new concepts or topics
(4) With workable teaching plan, perhaps spend some time on covering some out of syllabus tough Qs that tends to appear in exams. This is to prevent further stress and time pressure on our kids, as instead of learning most stuff in school, parents tend to hv to self-coach alot at home or send kids to external enrichment centres
(5) P to encourage Form teachers to try to communicate regularly with parents perhaps via email. Maybe set a template eg.
Subject:
Topics covered:
Areas that requires parents participation at home to aid in reinforcement:
Other feedback:
I think I had shared before, one of my elder dd's Chinese T did it weekly -on what she had covered each week and wat the parents can reinforce at home with the kids! A very fantastic Mdm Chen!
(6) P to recognise Ts who put in the extra effort and value add in helping weaker students achieve good progress!
(7) P to gather regular feedback from parents
