Is there student care service in the school?
Yes, there is a before/after school care within school compound. I believe Mrs Liew is in charge. -

This question looks completely Greek and out of this world to ME  I am guilty of just knowing how to buy Maths assessment books, not solving them.
Actually the question goes something like this: Using digits 1 to 9, fill in the 9 squares such that each set of 3 digits adds up the same number, i.e. a+b+c =c+d+e=e+f+g=g+h+i.lizhi:
A challenging Math Question of my dd's HW yesterday:
a+b+c=c+d+e=e+f+g=g+h+i, only can use 1-9 and not repeat a number.
...
find two answers,
a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i = 7,6,1,5,8,4,2,9,3
a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i = 9,3,1,8,4,7,2,5,6
any other possible answers? -

E3, you have just written my exact thoughts and sentiments!Anyone of you signing your kids up for the Chinese Cultural Camp? Was it offered last year to the P3s? Will the camp be held for P4s as well? We won't be in Singapore on those camp dates so feel a little disappointed that dd won't be able to attend this year. I am hoping there'll be another one conducted for P4s next year.
Thanks.
In fact, I was just staring at the letter, reading the programme and was about to post the question on this forum when I saw yours.
I was so disappointed when I saw the letter yesterday as we too will be away during the March hols... Disappointed that DD will not be able to attend the Chinese Cultural Camp this year as the programmes seem fun and interesting and I would love her to soak in the Chinese Culture...
Wondering if there will be a re-run...

Janet, this question was from their P3 school workbook, My Pals... :D
OIC. I roughly know what happens in the textbooks of the other 3 subjects but not Maths.

Sign, my son is so dread of tomorrow's HCL paper that he chose the 'ostrich mentality' - refused to do anything on CL, but other subjects! I gave up and forced him to sleep early .. anyway, don't think 1 more night of doing work on CL is going to make any difference ..
Know What I did Yesterday?
yup happy mama, sama sama, I also face this prob everyday! After homework, it's either too late to do revision or she will b daydreaming n reluctant to do anything more. But as exams appoaching, she is startg to get more motivated. Last nite b4 going to bed, she requested to do a chin paperperiwinklejoy:

My views too... Yes, she's ok in terms of homework.. the only thing that irritates me is her inability to be driven to study and do revision.
I Bought A Great BIG Choc Mousse Cake from EmiCake ....
And the Whole Family Feast On that!
And, She Finished ALL 6 CA1 HCL Top School Papers After That ....
Ha Ha ....
Just Pulling Your Legs!
The Choc Cake is Not So Miraculous -la!
Actually, I Just Pull out the Paper 2 Section A for ALL the Papers for My Gal to Revise (Minus ALL the Annoying Compre Q, Afterall, School Will Not Copy these Q for Exam, Right? .... :xedfingers: :xedfingers: )
She Complete it in Under 1 Hour and Got Most of It Right ....
Isn't That A Great Confidence Boaster?
So JRLam, U May Want to Try This Too ....
Don't Stress Your Boy With Impossible Q (aka Compre, Compo) before the Exam, Instead Let Him Attempt Something That can Finished Fast To Boast His Confidence the Nite Before ....
Of Course, A Choc Cake, Or His Favourite Snacks (Aka McDonald's, etc) May Do the Trick as well ....

Finally the school decided to have HCL paper earlier and let the kids all finish Science on the same day.
Doing homework alone is not sufficient to pass exams and score wellβ¦at least not in Pei Hwa standard. I have to get my son to take a nap to charge batteries. -

Your psot perhaps will cause the Choc Cake out of stock during this weekend since most of the schools are having the CA1 starts on Monday.
