After studied the map, I dun think they fall under Jurong GRC. Looks like got to wait for moe website to confirm. The boundary for Holland - Bukit Timah GRC is also redrawn. Potentially Nan Hua Primary School & Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School will now falls under Jurong GRC
Looks like the parents here will have to eagerly wait for the details of where the lines are drawn to be out before they will know their fate -

Currently or in the previous GE, Yio Chu Kang was taken out as a SMC from Ang Mo Kio GRC, now it rejoins but Sengkang West got kick out. In any case, I still can't comprehend why Sengkang is still being divided into half (Sengkang West & Sengkang East) and can't be a SMC by itself which will make it complete as a town. Sengkang East is under PasirRis-Punggol GRC. Imagine just across a road and we're in different GRC. Weird.
Agree with you, timtim, and I notice Bukit Timah Rd and Dunearn Road, both opposite and parallel to each other, belong to 2 different GRCs all these while and it remained so with the current change.......... -
I believe MOE would be updating their website subsequently, on the List of Primary Schools by Constituency... currently this information is only correct as of June 2010.
http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/listing-by-grc/
Then you'll see people kbkp and appealing.... :celebrate: -

Hihi, does it mean that these new boundaries already apply to 2011 P1 registration for 2012 intake?
Those parents living in Tanjong Pagar GRC who want to send their girl to their choice school will be very sad that this route is gonecitygirl:
I studied the map and it looks like RGPS, SCGS, ACPS and SJIJ (among other schools) are no longer in Tanjong Pagar GRC, but part of the new Moulmein-Kallang GRC.
ACJS appears to still be in Tanjong Pagar GRC.
Pardon my ignorance but I've just encountered an unexpected change in GRC and have a boy to register in July so I'm at a loss!
Does this change only apply after the elections or already effective now?

I believe many others are in the same shoes as you... given that Tanjong Pagar GRC has most of the popular schs... only MOE would have the answer...Hihi, does it mean that these new boundaries already apply to 2011 P1 registration for 2012 intake?

:?:[/quote]It took immediate effect upon PM's acceptance of the recommendations from Elections Dept. If you login now via Elections Dept web, you will notice the change for individual if you're being affected by it. For my case, instead of AMK GRC, now becomes Sengkang West SMC. -

New SMC... confirm Opposition come... more work for GRL to do... good luck!

Well, I am looking forward to their appearances! Ha..ha. It's been quite quiet in the past elections. In 2006 GE, though WP challenge PAP (Lee Hsien Loong) in AMK GRC, I didn't see them coming to Sengkang West, maybe it's too remote for them...

Damn, guess my choice of schools are also affected. I just hope that PA would be fair to the GRLs who are already serving the GRC since two years ago.
