Hihi, does it mean that these new boundaries already apply to 2011 P1 registration for 2012 intake?
Those parents living in Tanjong Pagar GRC who want to send their girl to their choice school will be very sad that this route is gonedaddy2007:
I studied the map and it looks like RGPS, SCGS, ACPS and SJIJ (among other schools) are no longer in Tanjong Pagar GRC, but part of the new Moulmein-Kallang GRC.
ACJS appears to still be in Tanjong Pagar GRC.
Pardon my ignorance but I've just encountered an unexpected change in GRC and have a boy to register in July so I'm at a loss!
Does this change only apply after the elections or already effective now?
:?:
It took immediate effect upon PM's acceptance of the recommendations from Elections Dept. If you login now via Elections Dept web, you will notice the change for individual if you're being affected by it. For my case, instead of AMK GRC, now becomes Sengkang West SMC. -

New SMC... confirm Opposition come... more work for GRL to do... good luck!

Thanks Daddy D and timtim for your quick responses! I'm overwhelmed! :celebrate:
I believe many others are in the same shoes as you... given that Tanjong Pagar GRC has most of the popular schs... only MOE would have the answer...blurblur:

Well, I am looking forward to their appearances! Ha..ha. It's been quite quiet in the past elections. In 2006 GE, though WP challenge PAP (Lee Hsien Loong) in AMK GRC, I didn't see them coming to Sengkang West, maybe it's too remote for them...

Damn, guess my choice of schools are also affected. I just hope that PA would be fair to the GRLs who are already serving the GRC since two years ago. -
Does anyone knows how to read the index/ know where to get the exact reference of the index of the location in the mentioned map?

For eg: TP03 in Moulmein-Kallang GRC means? I know it's in Toa Payoh, but does anyone knows exactly which areas or blocks of flats & schools fall in that area etc?daddy2007:

Good luck to all going on this GRL path

I doubt PA can do anything on this. They will say you will still have several of schools in the GRC for you to choose from

You can compare it using your street directory. Else can just wait for the details to be published. I bet Straits Times will illustrate out the new maps in the next 1-2 weeks. Previously they publish the map for each existing GRCs/SMCsFor eg: TP03 in Moulmein-Kallang GRC means? I know it's in Toa Payoh, but does anyone knows exactly which areas or blocks of flats & schools fall in that area etc?

Good news if staying within the new GRC/SMC of your preferred sch... cos' all the GRLs would have been forefeited, if really the case..... :celebrate:
