      Hi,

Heard the franchisee of the Enopi @ JE is ex-primary teacher. Does anybody knows which school was it?

      😄

      Hi ksunflower,

Oh is it? Didn't heard about it. Have you enrolled your kids for Enopi? I'm thinking to enroll my girl for Enopi Math.

My daughter is currently in the program. I like the Math program as it trains her not only on the basic but also on her critical thinking which is essential for primary school math now. Things such as number pattern are included.

As for English, they focused on the 4 aspects namely speaking, listening, writing and reading. My daughter will have to bring a story book to class. Teacher will read together with her and do some characters and plot analysis with her.

However, I believe that the teachers who are delivering the lesson have to be good and passionate about their own program before effective teaching can take place. Lucky us, the teachers at Bt Timah branch are good…

Maybe you can go to the one at Bt Timah if you live nearby…

my k2 boy was with enopi square 2 since aug.

it was ok, just kumon, basic drilling of addition n subtraction. he did improve and able to do basic addition n subtraction quite fast now.
but lately it was lots of repetition of the same bklet, so i withdrawn

critical thinkg was ok, abt patterning.

but half a year since aug to feb, he was still doing 1-digit and 2-digit addition, very slow

                      Hi mummies,

This thread is very quiet now. Having heard of Kumon, Enopi and other maths enrichment which offer the same style (worksheets and teacher mark/guide type), I'd like to know how is this different from buying our own maths assessment/critical thinking books from Popular and let our kids do at home? Is there something that we as parents cannot do, that enopi/kumon offer? Sorry to sound very blur, cos I have not sent my boy to any enrichment before so reading up and trying to know more now, before I make the decision if he needs any enrichment of any kind. Tks!! 🙂

if ur child is obedient, and u know what to teach, can teach urself.

i send my kids only becos its more structured, and cos my kids are not the logical type by nature so i rather start them on math early. there are many kids who excel in maths without math enrichment in preschool age. but mine seem to lack logical thinking, so i find that start early is better
