2 questions not done...means 4 marks gone...on top of that, mistakes made. Now can only wait till next wk to se papers. 11 Mar meet teachers to ask how to improve SA1. 2moro CL another disaster for OE compre. This 1 week holiday won't be such a fun-filled holiday.

My son shook his head for the MA papers too. Nevermind, think on the positive side - 1 more paper down, another 2 more to go!

Think the teacher must have a standard FAQ prepared for the Teacher-Parent meet coz every parent will cry-father-cry-mother .. \"we put in so much effort to prepare them, they studied so hard, yet u all so heartless still want to fail them! why??\" ... hahaha.

On the contrary, I will let them indulge in their favourite pastime - READING! during the 1 week holiday (sometime they are deprived of due to exam preparation) plus outings. I think they DESERVE that, also, to recharge, and be ready to bounce back for the next challenge!

IMHO, 1 more week of drilling is not going to make much difference, instead may further demoralize them. Like what Mark (or Trapwithin?) always say - don't get burnt out before the REAL day .. PSLEeee..

Normally when pple praised me liddat at work I straight away fore torpedo tubes loaded, aft defence shield up, invisibility cloak readied, watermelon & slicer checked, taichi ropes ironed ...... the list goes on :rotflmao:

Yes yes, this one I learnt from my platoon mate in NS. He always preached, 'If you know that next week very siong, then this week we must make full use of every single opportunity to rest and conserve energy. Conserve energy. Go Green. Makes sense.

Then my other platoon mate's mantra is that before every siong exercise, we must binge to compensate so that we can be happy.

I listened to these 2 buddies, that's why today I so out-of-shape :laugh: .

P4 mums or dads this year, for p3 meet the teacher session, do you get to talk to all subject teachers? Anyone have experience of communicating via phone?will each teacher call you at different timing?


I cannot make it that day…my boy joked that the teacher will sit together and pass the phone around…

Nope, no more intensive drilling...I'm breathless. Just get him to go through some mistakes he made and some OE comprehension passages with answers...That's it. CA1 is almost over...time to move on.
But before that, WE will go for ice cream tomorrow night !!! :rahrah:

Last year, her FT was her EL/Maths and Sci(from 2nd or 3rd term) teacher. I spoke to her FT as well as her CL teacher, face to face. Sorry cannot advise the timings of via phone.
