Hi everyone,

Hooray!!!! :rahrah: CA1 finally over (or will be over today for those taking HMTL). The kids can take a short break. Looks like mummies also need a break. My brain is also overloaded....keke. This is the first year I'm preparing 2 kids for CA1....what a juggling act! Thinking of heading down to the beach over the weekends. :imanisland: How are your kids going to unwind???

Congrats to kids who complete theirs yesterday, and yes those right now....completing soon by today :celebrate:

Beach is a sane place to unwind n relax , have a great time Tinkerbelle :dancing:

For me, kids wanna meet up their favourite cousins to unwind together over the weekend , and this mummy can :politebleah: blah blah non stop with my sisters gang lah :laugh:

CA1 over finally. :dancing: DS must be writing his science exam right now.
To unwind, outdoor for us. :imanisland: Beach is our favourite. But not yet decided. DS wanted us to go to Sungie Buloh, since he wants to show us all that he saw on his recent field trip from school.

3 teams of 4 students will represent the sch for this science workshop. Registration is done by the sch. Dunno much info yet. Will let you know the details when I know...just in case your DS is interested.

DD just attended her first session of \"The Little Professor\" workshop at ACJC on Wednesday. She had great fun doing experiments in the lab. No teachers were involved. Every group had an ACJC student as a mentor to guide them through the experiment. The group had to do some research on the given topic, answer some questions and complete a write-up on the science experiment. This week, they are comparing the vitamin C content of various food. For once, I can see the sparkle in my DD's eyes when she talked about science...heehee.....she didn't know science could be so fun in the lab.[/quote]Wow, sounds like fun. Well, more time to revise I suppose, to look at the positve side.

Not sure as dd said the maths and Science papers were quite tough and teacher said some of them did badly. We have to see the result and focus on area that require attention.

Don't worry, ur DD will not be one of those. I'm sure she has done very well. :celebrate:

Don't worry too much Brenda10. I'm sure your DD did well.

I always tell my DS that take every test as a learning opportunity. It is not only to test what you know, but also to highlight to you what you do not know. If you know most of it, good for you. :celebrate: If you have something in there that you do not know, :scratchhead: even better cos you learn in the process. Hopefully, it is not the case of you know but you have forgotten :slapshead:
